But Aldo couldn't keep up with the humanities and language requirement of the Institute so he dropped out of school, to the disappointment of his father, who wanted to make him an electronic engineer.
Soon after that, he got a job, at the beginning as an assistant of an electronic consultant in a patent-department, and after he retired, Aldo got his position.
Working so much in the field, Aldo developed his own way of understanding electronics and after 5 years, one of his friends encouraged him to write a thesis about it.
The thesis was presented at the Polytechnic Institute and was very appreciated by the professors there. Aldo diSorbo got in this way a position as a researcher in the Physics Department.
After developing several theories in statistics, mechanics and electronics, his discoveries were finally acknowledged when Aldo received a nomination to the Nobel prize.
Although he didn't win the prize, this event motivated Aldo to go on with his research and developing new theories about quantum physics.
During World War II, Aldo couldn't remain in Germany anymore so he solicited a transfer to a United States University. He was accepted as a visiting lecturer at first, and after one year he was offered a full time position.
Being persecuted in his own country, Aldo decided to never return and obtained a US citizenship.
